Ghi is butter fat without milk protein and sugars suitable for fitness recipes

Ghi is pure butter fat that is produced by slow butter release. It is made from milk from cows that graze on farms. During its preparation, water, proteins and sugars are evaporated from the butter. It results into pure fat which has yellow color, butter flavor and do not content any flavorings, colorings or aromas. Since it does not contain any milk proteins and lactose, it is suitable also for people who avoid it. Ghi is suitable for cooking or baking instead of classic butter. It has high smoke point, approximately 240°C, which means that it does not over burn during baking or cooking.

Warning

Store in close container in a cool and dark place for at least 12 months. You can also store ghi outside the refrigerator at temperatures below 20°C.
