100% Micronized Creatine Monohydrate – perfectly soluble creatine made in Germany with laboratory-verified purity

100% Micronized Creatine Monohydrate from GymBeam is pure creatine in the most researched and effective form known today. Thanks to micronisation, it is milled into fine particles that dissolve perfectly – without lumps and without sediment at the bottom of the glass.

Its quality is also determined by where it is made. We manufacture it in our own production facility in Germany, which meets strict quality and food safety standards IFS, ISO and HACCP. On top of that, we have the final product independently tested using the HPLC method in German laboratories, so you have proof that the package contains only pure creatine, free of fillers and unnecessary additives. A form you can trust with every single dose.

Micronized creatine – a finer powder that
dissolves better

Our creatine is micronized – milled into significantly finer particles with a size of approximately 200 mesh (at least 70% passes through a 200-mesh sieve). In practice, this means better solubility, a smoother drink and less sediment at the bottom of the glass, especially in the flavoured versions.

Why creatine monohydrate?

Creatine is nothing artificial. Your body creates it on its own in the liver and kidneys and stores it in the muscles as phosphocreatine, instant energy for the first 10–15 seconds of any maximum effort.¹ Supplementation simply tops up these stores to their maximum capacity, which you cannot get from a regular diet (meat, fish). The effect has also been confirmed by the EFSA: at 3 g per day, creatine increases physical performance during successive bursts of short-term, high-intensity exercise.²

And why monohydrate, when the market tempts you with creatine HCl, kre-alkalyn or „buffered” forms promising better absorption? Because the data for those promises is still missing.³ Monohydrate is the most researched form of creatine of all – backed by over 500 peer-reviewed studies, and the body can utilise it almost completely. The International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN) calls it the most effective ergogenic supplement available to athletes today.⁴

What creatine can do

Creatine is one of the most thoroughly researched supplements ever, and its effects do not end with „greater strength”.

  • Strength and performance. The only officially approved effect according to the EFSA – at 3 g per day, creatine increases physical performance during short, intense and repeated bursts of exercise.² In practice, this means more repetitions and more strength in both explosive and strength performances.⁶
  • Faster recovery. Replenished phosphocreatine stores help restore energy faster between sets and between individual workouts.⁴
  • Muscles as you age. In combination with strength training, it helps slow down the age-related loss of muscle mass and strength (sarcopenia).⁴
  • Brain and focus. Creatine serves as a quick energy reserve not only for the muscles, but also for the brain. Research increasingly suggests that supplementation can support memory – most notably in older people⁸ – and overall cognitive performance,⁹ while it can also maintain mental alertness in situations of increased stress, such as sleep deprivation.¹⁰ This is an area that science is researching intensively.

How does creatine take effect during the first four weeks?

When you start supplementing with creatine, you increase the phosphocreatine stores in your muscles by 20–40%⁵ and you will gradually begin to feel it:

Weeks 1-2:

Muscles begin to bind water directly inside the cells (not under the skin). You will look fuller and you may gain 1–2 kg on the scale – don't be alarmed, this is exactly what you are trying to achieve.

Weeks 2-3:

The last repetitions will stop being a struggle. On squats, deadlifts or the bench press you will add 1–2 reps, or you will be able to load more weight.⁶

Week 4+:

Muscles are fully saturated. You will recover faster between sets and between workouts.

You will reach full saturation either way – the only question is how fast. A loading phase (20 g daily for the first week) will get you there sooner, but even a steady 3 g daily leads to exactly the same result, just in about four weeks. A loading phase is therefore not necessary, only faster.⁷

Creatine is not just about heavy weights

Creatine is discussed most in the gym, but its benefits reach much further. That is why today it is taken not only by strength athletes, but also by active adults and managers. Who is it worth taking for?

  • Do you lift heavy weights? You will add 1–2 extra repetitions to your set and have more strength where it matters.⁶
  • Do you do CrossFit, MMA, HYROX or sprints? You will get more out of repeated short high-intensity intervals and recover faster between sets.
  • Do you want a stronger body and a firmer butt? Creatine is not a hormone and works just as reliably for women as it does for men.
  • Do you eat a plant-based diet? You get almost no creatine from a regular diet, so as a vegan or vegetarian you will benefit from it the most.¹¹
  • Are you taking GLP-1 medications (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro)? It will help you maintain muscle even in a caloric deficit.
  • Are you 50+? After fifty the body loses muscle faster (sarcopenia); creatine along with strength training slows this loss down, and research is increasingly examining its support for mental alertness and focus.⁴

In short, whether you lift weights or just want more from your body, creatine in your daily routine makes sense.

Why choose 100% Micronized Creatine Monohydrate from GymBeam?

Creatine monohydrate looks the same on everyone's label. The real difference lies in who stands behind the finished product and whether they actually control it.

  • It is micronized. A finer powder (200 mesh) dissolves better and leaves no residue – unlike coarser, slow-dissolving creatines.
  • Best price-to-performance ratio. You get a proven form of creatine at a price that allows you to take it long-term, not just for a few weeks.
  • We manufacture it in our own German facility near Düsseldorf – not through anonymous packaging plants. This is exactly why the product meets IFS, ISO and HACCP standards.
  • We independently test every batch in accredited German laboratories for active ingredient content, heavy metals and microbiology – you can find the lab reports directly on the product page in the lab tests section.
  • We ship to dozens of countries, which means we pass registration and inspections by European regulators, including the strictest markets such as Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and France.
  • We are backed by a team of experts in food safety, chemistry and ingredients – people who truly understand what they do.

How to dose creatine

Stick to a simple rule – 3 g daily as a baseline, 5 g daily according to newer studies¹² – and most importantly, take it every day, long-term. If you weigh over 90 kg, go for 5 g. Those who also target the brain and longevity sometimes go higher, up to 10–20 g daily.

  • Mix 1 scoop (5 g) in 250–300 ml of water, juice or a protein shake.
  • Don't worry about timing – take it any time during the day, consistency is what matters.
  • Take it on training days as well as rest days, you will fully saturate your muscles in 3–4 weeks.

If you stop taking creatine, your stores will return to their baseline level in about 4 weeks. That is why creatine works best when you take it regularly and long-term, every day.

I’ve taken creatine before, but I didn’t notice much of an effect, if any. With this one, I noticed a difference by the second week, even though I didn’t do a loading phase. Well done, GymBeam. I hope you maintain the quality.

A classic: pure creatine, a staple supplement for bulking. It doesn’t disappoint, the price is good, and it doesn’t dissolve very well in plain water. It sometimes feels gritty between your teeth, but it’s nothing terrible. If that bothers you, GB also sells a finer version, but that’s for the delicate types. Here’s to sport, and especially hypertrophy.
